The Wetaskiwin Public Library offers a variety of programs for adults Please see below for a listing of our ongoing programs. Unless otherwise noted, all programs are FREE of charge. If you have any questions please contact the library.


Adult DIY and Family Movie

The library will be hosting an adult crafting session during our family movie. In June, we will learn to make beaded earrings and in August, we will be creating our own spa products. Craft is for adults only. Movie for kids will be coinciding with craft session.

Free. Saturday, June 23 at 10:30 am and Saturday, August 11th at 10:30 am.

Death Cafe

Are you looking for a safe place to talk about death or dying with others? Join us once a month on Monday evenings to discuss death. This discussion group has no agenda, objectives or themes and is not a bereavement or support group. The group’s goal is “to increase awareness of death with a view towards helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.” Visit to learn more or stop in at the library.               

Mondays, May 14th and June 18th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Adult Movie Night

Join us the second Tuesday of each month for an adults-only movie. Movie titles to be announced. Viewing begins promptly at 6:00 PM each night.
