Adult Programs Fall/Winter


Family Game Night

Don’t be board at home! Join us for game night at the library. From checkers to chess to Settlers of Catan, Monopoly, Giant Jenga, Rush Hour and many more! No registration required. All ages welcome.

Mondays, September 11th – December 18th @ 5:30 – 7:30 PM
No game night October 11th


Adult Movie Night

Join us every second Tuesday of each month for a free adults-only movie starting September 12th. Movie titles to be announced. Viewing begins promptly at 6:00 PM each night. No registration required.


Death Cafe

Are you looking for a safe place to talk about death or dying with others? Join us once a month on Monday evenings to discuss death. This discussion group has no agenda, objectives or themes and is not a bereavement or support group. The group’s goal is “to increase awareness of death with a view towards helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.” Visit deathcafe.com to learn more or stop in at the library.

Dream Catcher DIY for Adults

The library will be hosting an adult crafting session during our family movie. Learn how to create a dream catcher to protect you or a loved one from bad dreams. Call or visit the front desk to register.

Valentine’s Day Tea

Love is in the air at the Wetaskiwin Public Library. Bring your family and friends to enjoy treats, card crafting, entertainment, and warm beverages on Valentine’s Day. Everyone welcome.

Seniors’ Easter Tea

Visit the library for a light lunch, yummy Easter treats, and an afternoon of choir music, visiting, and Easter cheer.

Tuesday, March 20th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM


String Art Craft for Adults

The library will be hosting an adult crafting session during our family movie. Learn how to create a beautiful piece of art using string, wood, nails and a hammer. Call or visit the front desk to register.

Garden Talk

Arbor Greenhouse is visiting the Wetaskiwin Public Library to talk about gardening! Get ready for spring and learn about plants. Together we will find our green thumbs! Cookies and beverages provided.
