Chess Club
Are you a lover of chess or looking to learn how to play? Stop by the library to play or learn the game of chess from a chess enthusiast.

Monday Morning Stories and Crafts (Ages 2 - 6)

Join Miss Kat for stories on ZOOM and a craft kit that you can pick up from the library. Each week will have a fun theme.
Mondays at 11:00 AM beginning September 13th ending December 13th.
Registration required, ZOOM link will be sent out prior to story time. 

Cookies and Cuddles (Ages 0 - 6)
Cozy up in your jammies, sit back and relax and watch Miss Kat read stories on Youtube. New videos will be posted every Wednesday for the month of September.

Maker Monday (Ages 9 - 17)
Pop by the library after school to make the weekly STEAM activity. Each week will offer different science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics focused projects that test your mind and creativity.
Bi-weekly Mondays beginning September 20th ending December 13th, from 3:30 – 5:00 PM.

Tutor Tuesdays (Ages 11 - 17)
Do you have homework or study questions? The library will have someone available to answer your queries. Don’t have questions? Feel free to use the space to access wi-fi and work on your homework in a comfortable space.
Every Tuesday beginning September 14th ending December 14th, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.

After School Games (Ages 11 - 17)

Teen Book Club (Ages 11 - 17)
Every first Thursday of the month join us for a teen book talk. Bring any books that you have read to chat about, participate in book-themed activities, and enjoy pizza provided by the library.
Once a month. Thursdays: October 7th, November 4th, and December 2nd,
from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
Registration required, limited spaces.

Teen Crafternoon (Ages 11 - 17) 

Looking for something to do on your day off from school? Register for an afternoon of creativity and crafting. Projects will include keepsake boxes, tie dying, bullet journals, and decorative letters.

Once a month. September 17th, October 8th, November 12th, and December 3rd, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

Adult Programs

Tech Tuesdays at Two
If you have simple device, computer, or eResource questions pop by the library for one-on-one help. 
Every Tuesday beginning September 14th ending December 21st from 2:00 – 3:00 PM.

Adult Book Club

Are you a book lover looking to deep-dive and chat with other book lovers about new titles and genres? Register for the Wetaskiwin Public Library Book Club once a month, to discuss that month’s current read.

For more book discussion you can join the Wetaskiwin Public Library Book Club Facebook page, to leave and read additional book reviews. 
Once a month. Thursdays August 26th, September 23rd, October 28th, and

November 25th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM.

Stitchin’ in the Stacks
Bring your knitting, crocheting, or yarn projects to the library to work on and visit with other fellow crafters. For more inspiration you can also check out project resources or one of our beginner loom, knitting, or crochet kits. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Every Wednesday beginning September 8th ending December 22nd
from 5:00 – 6:30 PM. 

Seniors’ and Elders Christmas Luncheon

The Wetaskiwin Public Library is hosting a luncheon with tasty food, beverages, and great entertainment.
Thursday December 9th, from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
