Computers & Internet

Public Computers

The Wetaskiwin Public Library has 9 computer stations available for public use. You must present a library card or valid picture ID in order to access a computer and your library account must be in good standing. By accessing our computers you agree to our acceptable use policy.

You may print from public computers for a fee. Read more about our printing services.

Wi-Fi Access

Library cardholders may also access our free Wi-Fi on their personal devices. Just connect to the LIBRARY WIRELESS network. It requires your library card number and pin number (the last 4 digits of your phone number) to login. If you require assistance connecting to Wi-Fi, a staff member would be happy to assist you.

Computer Assistance

Free one-on-one computer assistance is available to the public. An instructor will be available to help you with basic personal computing needs, including internet and email. If you have any questions about this service please call the library at 780-361-4446.

Online Technology Courses

Included with your library membership is access to Lynda.com. This comprehensive online learning database features a variety of video courses you can watch for free from home or at the library. Courses are available for a range of skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and cover general technology topics (e.g. How to use an iPad) as well as specific software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Photoshop). Check out our eResources page to get started.
