Join Wetaskiwin Public Library at Jubilee Park August 24th from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. There will be musical performances by Cailyn Mackenzie (11:30 am) and Wyatt C. Louis (1:00 pm). We will also have a variety of activities, giant games, food trucks, and more. We can't wait to see you during our end of summer celebration!
*Please note the library will be closed on this date as all staff will be supporting this event at Jubilee Park.
Bios:
Cailyn Mackenzie: Cailyn Mackenzie is a local aspiring singer-songwriter, mainly focusing on folk music with inspirations from various genres. Performing covers of familiar songs as well as debuting originals, Cailyn is excited to take part in our event.
Wyatt C. Louis: Walking the line between genres like an easy path rather than a tightrope, carried by textural and ethereal songs. Wyatt C. Louis gently pours their heart into effortless vocals, which comes through clearly on their debut album, Chandler. Nêhiyaw (Plains Cree) singer-songwriter born and raised in parts of Treaty 6 Territory, lets the amalgamation of those places shine through on these tracks about life and love.
